Jerry Gillette has been a therapist for over 30 years with experience working with individuals and families. He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spring Arbor College. In addition, he provides Motivational Therapy to individuals who are seeking to overcome self-defeating behaviors. Jerry works with all age groups (8-80) and has extensive experience working with teens. His approach to therapy involves focusing on listening and hearing the needs and the concerns of those he works with to develop an approach that fits well for them. He believes mental health is best achieved by addressing individuals’ needs in a wholistic manner: physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Jerry is very involved in his church and lives out his faith as a Christian. He can integrate his therapy with principles of faith for those with a desire to use their faith as a part of their therapy.
