Elizabeth Chambers, LMSW
Elizabeth Chambers is a licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Michigan. Her education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University.
She has extensive experience working with adults, families, college students, older adults, and caregivers. She specializes in working with adults who have been diagnosed with complex medical issues and chronic pain, as well as support and education to caregivers who are caring for a loved one. She also specializes in working with young adults who are struggling with their identity and adjusting to life transitions.
Elizabeth works with individuals and their families to address and overcome barriers and challenges associated with anxiety, depression, aging, disability, adjustment disorders, social isolation, self-esteem, sexuality, gender identity, chronic pain, dementia, grief, trauma, and end of life. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing.
