Marilyn Strobel, LLP, LMSW, CAADC
Marilyn Strobel is a licensed Master Social Work clinician, a Limited License Psychologist, and an Addiction Specialist who works with adults of all ages, couples, and families. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern University, a Master’s in Education specializing in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University, and a Specialty Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Treatment from Western Michigan University. Marilyn also completed the Family Treatment Program at Hazelden in Center City, Minnesota and is a former clinical fellow in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Marilyn is a seasoned professional with specialties in mood disorders, substance abuse/codependency, life transitions, serious illness, grief, marital and individual issues. She is also a certified trauma professional.
Her experience includes both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, community mental health (including program development). Since 1988, she has provided services through private practice and in outpatient settings. She is trained in a number of strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, anxiety and depression management, as well as other life transitions. Marilyn is comfortable in dealing with spirituality issues and is open and affirming to all who seek her services.
