Suzanne Council, LMSW

Suzanne Council is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Michigan. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Western Michigan University. She is a certified school social worker and has experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families.

Specifically, her experience includes working with special education students and their families ranging from ages 5 – 21 years old. She has experience working with children and adolescents who have challenges associated with anxiety, depression, social skills deficits, behavioral problems, autism spectrum disorder, and issues of anger. Suzie utilizes a strength based and person-centered approach while working with clients. In addition to her work experiences, Suzie believes in working in partnership with her clients, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals.
